Bedroom Vanity Stool

Being a bachelor it's going to be hard to get use to some of the things that will be changing in my life in the near future. With me getting married in the next couple of months, my soon to be wife will be moving into my place, and redecorating my bachelor pad. I'm sure she'll be putting all her girl touches to everything, maybe even a bedroom vanity stool for to sit down and put on her make-up in the mornings. There are going to be a lot of changes, I just hope I'm ready for them all.

When I moved into my condo it was definitely a work in progress. The people who lived here before me had a more sophisticated, old-fashioned style...where mine is a bit more modern. At some point I know I will be looking to buy a home, so that means I need to keep my place updated and ready to sell for when the time comes. Since I'm getting married this year, it very well could be this year that we sell. That's why I've been shopping a lot at Home Depot and was happy to come across home depot coupons 2012. It wasn't until I got out of college that I realized just how many different types of insurance are out there and how spendy they can be. You see, when I was in school, all of my insurance stuff was covered by my parents. While I was home for Christmas, I was talking with my brother in law. He was talking to me about how much organizing and cleaning they've been doing in their new house lately. They're trying to get rid of some things, but in the process he came across some pretty neat things from his past. Everything from sport trophies, pictures, etc. It's been fun for them to reminisce, but I know they're also happy to be getting rid of some things.

One of my biggest pet peeves is running out of ink when you are in the middle of printing something. And when you run out you never have the right cartridge to replace it. It always seemed to me that it was always the color ink cartridges that would run out more often than the black ink cartridges. I always make sure that I have ink on hand so I don't have to run out and get some.

First Snow of the Year!

Yesterday we experienced our first snow of the Fall/Winter. I was only a couple of inches but it was enough for me to see how my new car can handle in that kind of weather. Overall, I would have to say that I am very impressed how well it handled. I'm ready for winter!

My fiance doesn't think so, but I have always told her what a great cook she is. She makes unique dishes that are very healthy too. I think she should look into Cooking Jobs, or maybe even opening up her own restaurant. She would be very successful at it I'm sure. Growing up, I didn't think much about insurance of any kind. Until I got out of college, I was covered under my parents insurance and didn't have to worry about mortgage life insurance coverage or anything of the sort. Now though, I'm on my own and working...have my own place and all of the sudden I'm faced with all of these insurance decisions. Yesterday I went back home and was able to spend the day with my family. It's my dad's birthday as well as our hometown summer days. This day could not have been any better, I was able to spend a great day with my girl at the races! John Deere sponsored the Nationwide Race at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa and I got some tickets to the race and wow! I have never been to any sort of NASCAR race before, but let me tell you how awesome it was. I am a guy who likes going fast, and to see those cars flying around the track at over 100 MPH it was the best! I know I will be going again!

I recently bought a new car and love everything about it. It's brand new, which means I'm the first ever owner. This is new for me, and something I could definitely get used to. I bought a printer from my sister a couple years ago. It's pretty nice, wireless and does what I need it to do. The only problem I have is finding the black ink cartridges for it. Will Spring ever get here? I am very much looking forward to warmer weather, but so far it seems winter will never end. The snow continues to fall today and piles up just outside my door. Sr. vs Jr.

One of my favorite shows that I love to watch on Monday nights is American Choppers Sr. vs Jr. I have been watching this show over the place 5 years and I have got to watch a father and son grow there business to this awesome empire. Now they are two separate companies both competing for the same customers. It is really sad to see a family go from such highs to such lows. I really hope they can patch things up between them.

Paternity Test

Have you ever seen how pathetic daytime television has gotten. It use to be, when I was growing up, that you had your basic channels and most of those channels had on some sort of a Soap Opera on. But recently I have noticed that there has been a big change to daytime talk shows, most of which involve a girl claiming that her ex-boyfriend is the father of her baby. Then they show them both sitting on stage waiting to hear the results from the paternity test. It is so sad that this is the type on entertainment people like to watch.

NFL T Shirts

When it comes to clothes, I am not what you call a fashion expert. My current wardrobe, outside of work, consists of t-shirts, jeans, and some sort of soft shell jacket. I am not a very pick person when it comes to clothes, my shirts can go from nfl t shirts to orange county chopper t shirts. And my jeans can range from the ones in Shopko to the Lucky jeans in The Buckle. Now when it comes to soft shell jackets, I only wear the best, the North Face.

Updating

If you would have asked me 5 years ago what my interests were, I probably would have said cars and electronics. Now though, I have a new interest to add to that list...remodeling my place. Now that I'm a homeowner, I really take pride in keeping it updated and nice. At some point I know I will want to sell it and look forward to having people interested because of how well I've kept it up. When I moved in it was not updated at all. After working on lighting, fixtures and paint, it's really come a long way. I still need to do flooring, but I know that won't be too long before I'm able to do that too.

I just realized I never took the time to wish everyone a very Happy New Year! So...Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and was able to sit back and relax with family and friends. I was able to go out and visit my girlfriend and her family in Colorado and then spent a few days with my sister and her family. We celebrated the New Year with my parents and brother too. It was great! As I get older, I appreciate that family time even more.

Economy

With the economy the way it is, I've often thought it would be a good idea to invest. I have read up on purchasing gold bar and silver and definitely think this would be a good choice for me. I have not made any set decisions yet, but it's definitely something I'm considering and researching more. My Grandpa was big into investing and it really paid off for him. I think it's a wise move, especially when the economy is so shaky like it is now.

Cyber Monday

Do you enjoy shopping? I like to shop for some things...clothes, etc...but for the most part I do it from home. It's just easier. I have often thought people were absolutely crazy going out on Black Friday...why not just take advantage of the deals on Cyber Monday and shop from home? Now that's my kind of shopping. How about you...which do you prefer? Shopping online, or in the store? In my opinion, nothing beats shopping from the couch and having it delivered right to me. The only negative is waiting for it to come.

Winter Weather

It's only the beginning of January and I'm already really tired of the snow. Usually we get quite a bit, but never this much so soon. I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of winter anyways. I'd rather it be warm and easy to drive to work every day. This is getting really old. I hope winter will go by quickly and Spring will be here before we know it! That would be fantastic.

Vacation Travel

There are many ways to spend your vacation. You can fly or drive to one destination and spend all of your time there, or you can take a cruise and see many different places. My parents love to take cruises because you often travel for a week and can sleep in the same room every night. My mom always searches royal caribbean cruise deals for the best locations at the best price. I will be doing the same the next time I want to go on a cruise.

Wow, can you believe Christmas is already here and over with already? Where does the time go. I have been having a great time visiting with my girlfriend's family and soon will be flying back to spend some much needed time with my sister and her family. Cell phones

My whole family seems to be very much into cell phones. It seems every time I talk with one of them they have a new one. My brother-in-law used to work selling them, so that's probably part of the reason. I can't blame them though, I'm the same way. I love to have the latest cell phone...check out all the features, etc. I wonder what I'll get next? Come time for the new year I'll have to start looking again. I'm sure there will be many new choices out to choose from.

New Years Resolutions

Some will make choices to stop drinking or smoking, others will try to stop swearing, but majority of the people decide that they need to lose some weight. Since I am not married yet, I typically do not send out Christmas Cards. I usually see people with families doing that. However, this year I got to thinking...and thought it would be fun to do something with my cat. She is my family and I love her to pieces. As I was looking, I found many printing for less deals where I could get money off for the more cards I had printed. My sister is actually the one who got me interested in searching for deals and I'm glad she did.

Black Friday

As I get older and have more people to shop for over the holidays, I find that Black Friday is a great time to do it. I'm usually a procrastinator when it comes to buying gifts, and in this instance..it's actually a good thing. Waiting until just a few weeks before Christmas to find something for my parents and loved ones is great when I can get outstanding deals! If you've never been out shopping on Black Friday, then you should know it's one of the best shopping days of the whole year! Yes, it's a bit crazy with all the people...but so worth it. In fact, sometimes I don't even fight the crowds because I can actually do my shopping online and get the same deals! I'm excited to see what great finds I come up with this year!

Holiday Travel

With the holidays quickly approaching, I am preparing myself for the traveling I will have to do. Between traveling back home to Northern Iowa and also traveling to Colorado, where my girlfriends parents live, I need to be prepare for any travel emergency. I have many different tools to use in these situations. For one, my BMW is equipped with a button that allows me to contact a support team for help. I also carry my cellphone, which is probably the most help of all. This is a friendly reminder to all of you who will be traveling these holiday seasons, to prepare yourself.

Shopping online is really great. I don't shop a lot, but when I do...I like to check online first. As I was shopping yesterday, I came across items like a medical cart and things of that nature. It amazes me that pretty much anything anyone could ever need is sold online. Whether you're looking for used items or new items...you're sure to find something online. What I love about the online shopping thing is that you can browse around to find the best deal without having to leave your house. It's great! Sometimes I look online for deals and then go to the store once I find it so I can purchase it there. Other times I just order online and pay the shipping. Either way...shopping online is definitely the way to go!

So I am not a huge shopper, but when I do shop (like for Christmas gifts), I shop online. My sister does this too and was telling me that she actually finds shopping online to be the best way to f ind deals. She loves the convenience and so do I. But I never knew how many online coupons are out there if you just look. I am usually the one to teach her things about technology and the Internet, but this is a great piece of information she's told me and with Christmas shopping just around the corner, I know it will come in very handy!

Weather

For the last couple of weeks it's been gorgeous out! I can't tell you how nice it was to have summer weather back. Now however, that has all changed. It's like fall skipped us and winter is here. It was actually snowing today and on top of that, freezing cold! I have the heat on and my fireplace running! I hope that we get a couple more weeks where it's really nice...it's just too early for this kind of bitter cold weather. Winter can hold off until Christmas for all I care.

Does anyone have a good home remedy for blackheads? I have a friend who is in desperate need of finding one, but so far no luck. I've been doing some research so far haven't come up with a lot for him either. He came to me because he knows that I spend a lot of time researching online for different things. I am not even out of my 20's yet and I'm already beginning to feel old when I look in the mirror. Where did all these wrinkles come from? I admit I don't get the sleep I should, but is that really aging me this much? I really want to find wrinkle creams or something that will help me look my age again. As I search online, I am overwhelmed with all the weight loss pills. There are SO many choices, all saying they'll give me the same results. So which one do I choose!? That is the question I've been fighting for so long. One day I think to myself that I won't do anything, and then the next I feel like I should find something. It's tough. My girlfriend and I have been running lately and I've been feeling great. There was a time when the temps started cooling off and we stopped for a while. Now, the temps are really pleasant and it's perfect running weather. I love it! I'm losing weight and feeling really good. Overwhelmed

I used to excited that it was Friday and the start of a weekend, but now weekends are no different than workdays. I am usually working and if I'm not, I'm studying. I don't feel like I have much free time at all these days and it's really wearing on me. I have just a few weeks left of my classes this semester, and then a long break which will be very nice. I can't wait!! I just hope the break goes by slowly.

Needing Sleep

Ever since I began taking classes online and continuing to work overtime, I feel like I am lacking sleep. Well, that's probably an understatement. I need sleep whenever I can get it, but the problem is...I'm almost TOO tired. I have a hard time falling asleep which makes me even more miserable. I am in desperate need of some help...but like with anything, do not want to try any meds without researching them first. I came across some info about natural sleep pills and after reading more about it, think this might be the best choice for me. Have you ever tried anything like this? If so, did you like it?

Xbox 360

Ever since I was young I have always enjoyed video games. There are some that stand out more than others, like the xbox 360. I love so many games and enjoy playing them in my free time. Having a video game console is just as great as having a dvd player in my opinion. It's fun and something I know I'll be able to do for many years. I'm not sure which xbox games I like the best, but that's probably good...it means there are so many good ones it's hard to choose, right?! Do you enjoy playing video games?

My Condo

I have never regretted buying my condo. It was not very updated when I bought it, but I was able to make it my own and I really love it! It's been a great place to live and I foresee myself living here for many more years. I have painted every room and replaced light fixtures, faucets, etc. The main thing left to do is find modern furniture in my office. Once I do that my place will pretty much be finished. What a great feeling that will be.

Dark Circles

I notice as I get older that I'm looking worse in the mornings. Is there a best eye cream for dark circles? If so, I really need to find it. Between the wrinkles and the dark circles I look so tired when I go into work. I hate it. I need something that will help, but have no clue where to start. If you have any advice or experiences of your own that would make this easier, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm not even sure if it's something guys normally do? But, I don't know what other choice I have.

Fall

Wow, it sure felt like fall today. A lot of the US had 90 degree weather, but it was very cool and rainy here. It was not a pretty fall day, but much cooler than it has been. I am looking forward to the leaves falling. It's going to be really fun to go see my niece and nephews and play with them in the leaves like I used to when I was little. They're going to have a blast, and so will I.
