| I'm pretty happy that today is Thursday. That means just tomorrow left, and then the weekend already. That means I should really get some things done around my place tonight so that I can enjoy my weekend some without all of the work that I have. I plan on doing some laundry, getting some bills done and cleaning tonight and tomorrow so that I have saturday and sunday to relax before another work week begins.

| Is it Spring yet? I am really ready for Spring! We've been in winter now, pretty much since the beginning of November, and I'm ready for some warm weather. I'm hoping that since winter came a bit early, that it will leave a bit early as well. I guess we'll just have to see...but that's my hope. I know that spring usually means rain, but that's ok with me. It's better than having snow...that's for sure!

This patient underwent some very unnecessary shocks that required an implantation of a defibrillator. | American Idol has been on lately, and I really enjoy watching it. The beginning shows are actually my favorite, because you get to see all of the candidates audition. Some are really good, while others are not so good. I guess I don't really like seeing some of their feelings get hurt, but some of them are so bad it's hard not to laugh. I think the auditions are coming to an end...then the real shows will begin.

| My sister was telling me how much Kaelyn is changing. She's not only getting bigger, but she is just doing more things. She is holding onto things, grabbing at things, playing with people, sitting in people's laps for long periods of time...the list goes on and on. She is getting so big...I really need to go see her soon. She's such a sweetie, and she doesn't live too far away...so I really need to take a weekend and go up there and visit!

| I've been trying to get the word out about my sister's new site because I am really proud of it. I helped her design it, and I think our ideas put together made a very nice blog in the end. She wanted to have a "mom" type of blog where she could ultimately write about the "Balancing Act" of being a mom. She discusses everything from work, to home, to her family...very interesting.. She discusses different products and things that she recommends, or would like at some point for their home as well. If you're interested in reading a great mom blog, you should check her site out! | I was talking to my mom and found out that my sister and her little baby were actually staying with them for a couple of days recently. I wish I would have known, because I would have tried to go back and see them possibly. It's definitely something that I wanted to do, because it's been a long time since I've seen them...especially my little niece. I really miss her, and know she has probably grown a ton by now. I'm going to have to make it a point to go back soon and see them.

| I'm not a huge sports nut, but I do think it would be fun to get some Miami Heat Tickets sometime and go down to a home game of theirs. I love it down in Florida and really enjoy watching this team play in particular. The thing is, every time I look, getting tickets is just too difficult. That's why I was so happy to hear about Premium Seats USA, which is a wonderful resource for getting great tickets to NFL, MLB, NBA and many more events. They have a huge selection of tickets to choose from...so this is the company that I'm going to go with. I definitely want to find good seats, and this is the site that will make that happen.

| Lately I've been so busy, it's been hard for me to have time to post on this blog. I've done a little posting at night, but really have been very busy with work. I'm still trying to get that promotion that I interviewed for a while back, and actually have another interview for it coming up. I love my job now, but this promotion would give me more responsibility is more along the lines of what I consider myself doing. It would be wonderful!

| I can't believe that the SuperBowl is on this weekend. It doesn't seem like it should already be that time of year already! Wow! This year I'm not really in to the SuperBowl, as neither team is really someone that I like watching. I'm sure I'll catch a bit of the game, but don't plan on throwing some big party or something to watch it this year. I'm sure my girlfriend and I will just hang out and relax that day and just play it by ear.

| I really like shopping online. Ebay and Amazon are my favorites I think. One thing that I really like though is when I can find coupons to shop with on different sites. Amazon for instance has great Amazon couponss that I can use to get discounts on the things that I purchase. I mean who doesn't like a discount, right?! I know I do!! | Where I live it gets rather cold outside around this time of year. I always like to find warm jackets that are good quality and at prices that I think are reasonable and that I can afford. This year I am looking for volcom clothing. They have some really great men's jackets that would look great I think. I've only looked online, but from what I can tell there are many styles I think I could wear. I'm gonna have to look further into it, but I think this is the route I'm going to go.

| It's been so cold outside lately that schools have actually been delaying school. Not only that but they are bringing outdoor recess inside. I think that's a great idea. It's too bad that the temps have to get this cold, but soon enough it will warm up again. Spring will be here before we know it I'm sure. Just remember if you're going to be out in this bitter cold to bundle up! That's very important.

| Recently I heard of a really sad story that happened back around my home town. There was a son in a surrounding town that killed his mother. He had his dad locked down in the basement while he did it. I guess he has some mental issues, but I still can't believe that he did this. Thankfully he turned himself into the police that same day and he's going to go to jail. It's just sad to hear of these types of stories that happen.

| I don't know why, but I've always been into gold watches! Ever since I was little I've enjoyed wearing watches...usually my dads old ones or something. But now that I'm older and can afford a nicer watch, I've really enjoyed shopping around for gold watches. I think they're very nice looking and go great with the attire that I have to wear to work each day. I'm going to have to find one that suits my style though...that's the hard part.

| I never really was into golf until this past summer when my dad and brother-in-law got me hooked! Now that's all I want to do in the summer time. I was quite bummed when winter hit, because that means I have to wait quite a while before I can go again. During this time of waiting, I've been in search for some new Nike golf clubs. A friend of mine has some and really loves them. I'm going to have to do some searching to find the best deal!! Hopefully I'll like them.

| Well, you could say I'm about officially done helping my sister with her blog. She just loves it which is great since it took me days to design and get all figured out just the way she wanted it. I must say that I am really happy with the way it turned out as well. It's a blog geared towards other moms out there, specifically those who stay at home. She began this blog a few months back, and so far has discussed a lot of very interesting topics....ranging from ways to make money, vaccination safety and other great topics that many moms would find beneficial. Ok, are you ready for it it...her blog is...A Mom's Balancing Act. She's balancing her marriage, her new daughter, her work online, the house and so much more now that she's a stay at home mom. | Being out of college and officially on my own now...I'm facing the harsh reality of how expensive it is to live. My parents were, and still are, always so great to take care of many of the things I needed and need and I didn't realize how much money they actually spent. Now being on my own I realize how expensive it is just to live. Whether it's the travel health insurance, the cell phone bill, rent, etc...it's all very spendy and something I'm definitely still getting used to having to pay. I'm sure it will become easier and easier as I go. I'm just out of college though, so this is all new to me.

| I finally got finished helping Jenna get her new blog together. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Although I don't do it a whole lot....this graphic design thing is something I really enjoy. She was really happy with how it turned out which is good too. I was hoping she'd like it! I am still tweeking a few things here and there...but for the most part it's ready for her to begin using. I will let ya know what the blog is once she gets it up and running.

I got a new camera for Christmas this year, and ever since then I've been so into photography and capturing so many great moments with it. | The days are getting longer again. I noticed that when I used to drive home it would already be getting dark around 5 or so. Now, however....the sun is staying out longer and it's not getting dark until 5:30 or later. That's a good sign, because it means Spring is coming. Winter came too early this year, and I'm looking forward to when it's over. It's been bitter cold and I'm ready for some warmth. I'm welcoming Spring whenever it decides to arrive.

| Wow, Lately it seems we've been getting quite a bit of snow. It's pretty much been snowing on and off for the past few days now. It's been a while since we had this kind of weather. Thankfully it's not causing too many visibility problems. The DOT in my town does a good job of keeping roads cleaned off...that sure helps. It's good because in a city with a big college like this one, it's important to have the roads clear for all of the students traveling to and from all day.

| Tonight I'm busy watching American Idol and it's so funny! | My girlfriend really enjoys watching reality television, so she kind of got me into watching the Real World this past season. Tonight is when they all come back for their reunion show. It should be interesting as the season was different than any others I've seen. For instance, one girl left to go be with her boyfriend and one girl left because she was kicked off for pushing one of her roommates. It should be interesting to see how they all get along tonight. | I'm still on the search for a promotion type position in the company I work for. I LOVE my job, but would even enjoy doing more work like this...so I've decided to looking for other, higher positions within the company that would give me more responsbility and ultimately a great salary. | In talking with my sister and her husband the other day it sounds like Kaelyn is beginning to grow out of many of her 0-3 month clothes. She is getting so big now that she can't even fit in most of them. I guess they had to go buy a tub and put all of the clothes in there that she can't wear anymore. It's almost full by the sounds of it. She's now in 3-6 month clothes which are fitting her very well. Jenna said that they're none too big though and that she wouldn't be surprised if she starts growing out of some of that within the next couple of months.

| Sometime this year I'm planning on taking a trip to see my brother, his wife and their new baby. I only have one niece and one nephew...and unfortunately I don't get to see my nephew nearly as much as I would like because unlike my niece he lives very far away from where I live. In talking with my sister who recently had a baby, she was just telling me how often they are using their digital camera and camcorder. She said that they are constantly using them and always having their batteries die because of the use. | It's crazy to think that we're already half way through January of 2008. Doesn't it seem like just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas and the new year?!? I can't believe how quickly the months just pass by. I know I say that all the time...but it seems that with each year that passes, it goes by more quickly than the last. I don't mind coming into a new year, but I do wish that they'd slow down just a bit. There's so much in life to enjoy and cherish...I'd like it to go a bit more slowly.

| I have never seen the movie Wild Hogs, but my family tells me it is really good. I have never seen it, but do have it on DVD, so I'm hoping to watch it very soon. Over the years my family has taken many, many family vacations. We've almost been to every vacation spot imaginable here in the US. However, the one place I've never been, but would love to at some point is the Oregon coast. We've been to almost every other state, except for this one. I've done a lot of research on this state and specific location and it seems like it would be a very nice place to vacation. My girlfriend is actually from around this area, so maybe she'd like to go with me someday?!! In the research I've done, I've found that the Oregon Coast is a great place for family and friends to just get away. | I had a pretty good weekend overall. I was bummed that the weather didn't hold up, as I had planned to go back home and see my girlfriend and her family. It's alright though, they understood. | Babies have been the talk in my family over the past few months now. The reason being is because my brother and his wife had a baby, and my sister and her husband had a baby. Both had babies in November. It's been so much fun having the babies around over the holidays and watching them grow and change right before our eyes! They're both sweeties! It's so much fun buying them baby gifts...I like to browse every time I'm in a store that sells baby stuff.

| Wow, it's still extremely cold out there today! I just got back from church a while ago and couldn't believe how chilly it was when I walked out to my car. I'm hoping that it warms up a little bit today, as my heat has been running like crazy. I have a feeling it's only supposed to get colder though. I had a friend who knew how much I like surfing the web, and he wanted me to search out some of the dating sites out there and find a good one that might suite him well. It seems that there are so many out there these days and he really didn't have the slightest clue where to begin. I thought it was great that he wanted to begin dating online...it's something that many people are doing and it seems to be pretty successful for a lot of people. | There's a lot of debate about vaccinations out there these days. It's kind of scary to think that many people put these shots into their kids without really even knowing what's all in them or how they can effect them. I didn't really know about this until my sister and sis-in-law were telling me about it. They have decided not to give their kids vaccinations at this point and I think it's a good idea. They've done a lot of research and feel it's the best choice for them.

Recently I've been looking for a new vehicle. I really am just getting bored with my old one and would like something new. | My sister recently got an elliptical and she told me today that she tried it for the first time last night. She really likes it, and says it reminds her of the kinds you see at the gym. She was planning on working out again tonight...but after having gone so long without doing much exercise...she's a little sore today. I think she'll be holding off a couple of days. | When I was in college I didn't have a whole lot of financial responsibility. It's after I graduated when all of the budgeting and planning kicked into gear. My mom kept telling me that soon I would have to become responsible for all of my money, and boy was she right. Once you graduate you have to pay rent, utilities...things you didn't have to do in the dorms. | Last night I was really looking forward to watching Run's House and to my surprise it was on for two hours straight. They had two previously shown ones, and then two new ones. It was a great surprise to me. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it made my night. I had a very busy day and it was sure nice to just sit back and relax watching television with Renee. I am looking forward to new episodes next week already.

| Tonight is the season premiere of Rob and Big and Run's House. These are two television shows on MTV that my brother-in-law and dad got me watching. Both shows are really funny and always have an interesting story line. I hate to say it, but more and more I'm becoming a sucker for reality television like this. It's just so intriguing.

| My sister and her husband started having their daughter sleep in her crib this past week. She was sleeping in a bassinet in their bedroom. But now that she's sleeping through the night, they knew it was time to switch her over to her own room. I guess she's been doing extremely well...sleeping 8 or more hours every night. She even wakes up cooing and laughing because she enjoys looking up at the mobile that hangs above her. I'm glad she's doing so well in her new room...I knew she would though. She's a good baby.

| I can't believe how quickly my niece and nephew are growing. Both were born in November, and they are getting so big already. I've never really been around babies, so this is all new to me and I love it! It was so fun getting to see them and spend time with them over the holidays. I sure hope I have time to see them again soon.

| I had such a nice new years with my family this year. The best part was being able to spend time with them all and see my little niece. I also really enjoyed playing games with them. We don't do that a whole lot, but when we do we have so much fun!! We just mess around and make jokes....it was great! I told my mom it would be nice to play games more often when all of us are around. Maybe this weekend?!? Who knows.

| It sounds like my brother and his wife were very surprised with the surprise baby shower that Di's family threw for them over Christmas time! From what I heard and saw from the pictures, it looks like they got a lot of very nice things. They got clothes, toys and all sorts of things. I'm glad that they got to have a nice shower like that because they didn't get a family baby shower since they live so far away!
