| My sister said last night that she was going to take it easy today...as tomorrow is a big day with her being induced at 6 in the morning!! She said she was going to relax...but in checking out her blog this afternoon, I see that she's been posting away!! | For the most part I really don't mind my desktop. It's been a good computer and got me through many years in school. However...my one pet peeve is when the computer just decides to freeze up or runs real slow!! I hate that!!! It's especially annoying when I am right in the middle of doing something. | Once again I'm just baffled as to where the time has gone this week. I feel like the week just began and we're already half way through Wednesday already! | Well...it's about that time of day when I really need start thinking about lunch. I can't go to long without eating because I tend to get hunger induced headaches that way. | As of now it doesn't sound like either one of the girls is going into labor yet. I know they're both very anxious...as is the rest of the family who is anticipating the births. I'm sure they will both go very soon. I know my sister actually is going to be induced on Thursday if the baby does not come. I know she's excited about this, but also nervous and would rather the baby come before then. I guess we'll just have to see.

| Renee and I have really been on quite the health kick lately...but with Halloween here it's tough not to want to indulge in some of our favorite candies. I know that having some candy here and there wouldn't be too bad for me...but it's mainly the price of candy that keeps me from buying it. For the amount you get and the price you pay...it is just not worth it most times. | My sister is pregnant at the moment and due any day now with their first baby. She really enjoys the fact that she is going to be able to be a stay at home mom. I am not one that gets into the gambling thing much. It's not so much that I don't enjoy playing the slots and having a good time...I just don't enjoy being somewhere with that many people and all that smoke!! | This time of year I find it very hard to get the temperature in my place at a point that's comfortable. It seems that if I don't have the heat on...I get pretty cold during the day and night. However, it seems that when I decide to turn on the heat...I get very warm. It's tough because it's right at that time of year when it's chilly outside, but not quite cold enough to turn on the heat. If it would warm up just a few degrees out there it would make such a difference!

| My sister! She was telling me the other day that with her pregnancy coming to an end now...she is becoming more and more uncomfortable. Her back is beginning to bother her with the contractions and the extra weight she's carrying, and her ribs are starting to ache...as the baby is getting bigger by the week it seems. I think she's really happy that there's a week or less left...because she'll be happy to have that baby in her arms and not carrying it in her belly any more.

| I am not a huge sports fan...but I do enjoy watching baseball from time to time. I especially enjoyed the World Series this year. | I really love my job and feel so blessed that I have the job of my dreams. What I like best about it is that there's so much opportunity to move up and make more money over the years. In fact, I've only been with them about 6 months or less and I'm already considering a couple of promotional type positions. | I was just thinking today how nice it would be to get out of here for a while and go on a mini vacation. Even if it was just for a weekend, it would be nice to get away from the stresses of work and this cold weather. I was thinking that Las Vegas would kind of be a fun place to go. What do you think?!? | When I first started my job it was kind of a job that they were just creating. Before I could start they needed to get some new office furniture and office supplies so that I had an office ready for me to come work in. They really did a great job and I'm happy with everything that they picked out. I even have a great computer that they got for my office. | My sister and her husband were just saying how they're so happy that they have a nice backyard now that they live in a house of their own. The reason being is because my parent's dog comes to visit a lot and she loves the backyard. The only problem is that they have a deck and Zoe likes to try and crawl under it. She's too big to be doing that and has gotten stuck many times. They're going to have to get some board or something to put up so she doesn't do that anymore.

| I was asking my sister what names they've talked about for the baby since they don't yet know if it's a boy or a girl. She said that they've for sure decided on a name for it if it's a boy, but the girls name they're kind of torn on. I was kind of surprised with the birth of the baby being right around the corner. | I've had a slight headache today. It's not bothering me too much, just enough to make working on my computer today a little miserable. | With winter right around the corner, I've been thinking about my car being out in that gross weather. The winter's here are very hard on vehicles...not to mention on the people who have to get out in the bitter cold and scrape them and defrost them. As I was thinking about this the other day, I remembered that the apartments where I live offer garages for a monthly rate that's very reasonable. I think I may get one for my car just for the winter months. It would be a lot easier to get going in the morning without the hassle of ice all over it. I'm glad I have this option available to me.

| The one thing about this time of year that I don't like much is the fact that it stays dark much later in the morning and it gets dark much earlier. Soon I will probably be going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. That's usually how the winter months are here in the midwest. | My parents are so excited to be grandparents....every time their phone rings they told me that they're wondering which girl it is calling to say that they are going into labor (my sister or sister-in-law that is). | One thing about living where I do, is that there are trains going by a lot towards this time of night into the late hours. I have gotten pretty used to it, but at times when I'm trying to concentrate it's very difficult. I find the noise to be rather bothersome and wish that it wasn't so consistent each and every night! | Well, tonight I'm looking forward to what I've talked about in the past....BASIC. This is a Christian based organization that puts on a terrific program for college students every Thursday night at the college that I graduated from. | I love the fact that it's the end of the week, but am not excited about the fact that this means I really need to do some house cleaning and laundry. I don't know about you, but cleaning and laundry are two things I do not enjoy doing!! The thing is though, that these are both necessities and things I have to do whether I like it or not. I probably will start by doing a little bit tonight and finishing tomorrow night. I don't like to do it all in one night, and I definitely don't like to leave it til' the weekend.

Although I have not had personal experience with a mortgage at this point in my life, I am very interested in buying my own home in the future and have talked with my sister who recently purchased her first home just a couple of months ago. I think it's too bad that banks make it so easy to go out and get a big loan like that, but it's also not their responsibility to know exactly what you can and can't afford. A responsible person going in to get a loan should know their budget and know what they can afford...that is my opinion anyways. | I still haven't heard any news from my sister or sister-in-law...so I am guessing that both are still waiting for their little ones to arrive. | This summer I took up the hobby of golf, and next summer I would like to get into camping. It seems every summer I like to try something new. I am looking forward to it, because camping is such a nice, peaceful way to spend time with friends and family. | I would have to say that if I could take my family anywhere in the US someday, it would have to be Orlando. When I was younger, my family went on so many different Orlando vacations....and each one has it's own unique memories that I will never forget. | When I was in High School I found that I needed glasses for things like reading and doing my school work. | Well, it's another one of those gloomy days out there. I shouldn't be surprised though, as the weatherman did say it was supposed to rain much of the week. | I was asking my sister what names they've talked about for the baby since they don't yet know if it's a boy or a girl. | This weekend was UNI's Homecoming. Even when I was a student there, I didn't get into Homecoming much. My girlfriend still goes there, and we both were interested in going to the homecoming football game this past weekend though. We went, but were disappointed because they were all sold out. I suppose that makes sense, as it is probably the biggest game of the year!! We decided that we'd just watch the game on television. | I grew up in a smaller town where there weren't too many places to eat or go out. | As I have written in the past, I love listening to my music, especially while I'm on the computer. I am not the type of person who listens to loud music or is loud in general...but the lady that lives below me tends to disagree. I was having a good couple of months where she wasn't complaining about me walking too loudly across my creaky floor, but not she has started in about how she thinks my music is too loud. | I don't know why but I have a sore throat today! I think it must be the weather, as this is something I've been fighting on and off for a while now. It's not the kind of sore throat that you get when you're sick, but the kind that just feels dry and scratchy. It's just more annoying than anything. | There's only about two weeks left until my sister and sister-in-law are due with the babies. I just can't wait!! | It's another sunny, but cold day out there. It's the weekend, so I thought it would be nice to go golfing, but unless it warms up a lot I don't think I'm going to be able to do that afterall. | It's that time of year when it's too cold outside to turn the air conditioning on, but it's really too warm out to turn on the heat. I find that it's difficult to get comfortable as far as temperature is concerned. | Both my sister and sister-in-law are expecting their first babies in the next couple of weeks. From what I've been hearing, both are really anxious to have the babies. | It's really starting to feel like winter is right around the corner. I hate to say that so early, as I am not one who really enjoys winter time...but I can't help but think that it will be here soon this year as the weather seems to be changing in that direction just recently. | Today is another very cold day out there. I decided to turn my heat off last night, which was fine since I was covered with layers of blankets...but it was a mistake once I got out of my bed and felt how cold it was in my place...burr!! It was just over 60 degrees in there and that felt freezing to me!! Outside was even colder, so I knew I better turn on the heat for a while. I'm thinking by tonight it should be all nice and toasty warm in my place. This time of year it's just so hard to judge because some days are warm, while others are quite cold.
